Friends, how are you?

On Tuesday, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (Bill de Blasio) wore a black Brooklyn Nets jersey under his open blue button-down shirt, and never appeared at the Tuesday morning press conference. The flat-brimmed mesh hat that I wore immediately became a meme.

De Blasio deployed more than 250 New York Police Department officials to the subway, calling it the largest underground force in 25 years

Hizzoner put on his gown and announced the city's latest plan to encourage people to get COVID-19 vaccinations-if they get the shot on a pop-up site outside the Barclays Center, they have a chance to win tickets to the team's playoffs.

"The Nets are standing up for Brooklyn and the entire New York team," De Blasio said at his daily virtual press conference. "This will be another extraordinary effort to get everyone vaccinated."

"This will be amazing. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the greatest teams in a long time and a team that will bring glory to Brooklyn and New York City."

But the 60-year-old mayor’s awkward dress quickly became a bigger story on social media.

The CEO of the Nets, John Abamondi, attended Tuesday’s press conference with De Sihao. He stated that they would be “close to full staff” as much as possible. Most areas of Barclays Bank are for vaccinated people. Set aside, only a "few" unvaccinated attendees in the seats that are physically kept away.

"There is a light at the end of the tunnel-it is in the form of a vaccine, and we are really happy to be part of the vaccine work," he said. "We are really looking for vaccinations for our fans"

Abbamundi and De Blasio expect the Nets to go deep into the playoffs, so there will be several scoring opportunities.

"We are very excited about the playoffs... We make no secret of it, and we have high ambitions for this season," Abbamundi said.
