Now you can cook a Midsummer-style dinner at your own risk.

When you put a lobster into a pot of boiling water, it will make a sharp whistle, which is a terrible thing. It may be strange to boil a living thing, but deliciousness and horror often complement each other, which is obtained by A24 Film Studio. The studio’s publishing department is releasing its first cookbook "Horror Caviar", a horror-inspired cookbook that contains creepy recipes and articles involving chefs, writers, and food influences The influence of food on the type of horror.

Recipes include frozen lamb chops with marigold inspired by Midsommar, fish stew inspired by The Witch, and black angel hair pasta bones and pork dumplings inspired by Audition. Carmen Maria Machado, the morbid patron saint of modern times, published an article titled "Terror and the Refrigerator: Nine Essays" and an article about black vampire movies, the author is African American Yasmina Price from the Department of Studies and the Department of Film and Media Studies. Yale. This book is full of creepy full-bleeding photos spread, just like the creepy mood board in a nightmare, only A24 can concoct it. It can now be purchased from A24's online store for $65.

More of our favorites in this book include the "pea gelatin labyrinth" inspired by "The Shining" (which is both a winter movie and a Halloween movie), or my personal favorite: "Spread insect candy Aspic Tower", inspired by Suspiria. Of course, there are some beverage recipes, such as "Warm Vegan Horchata, Amaro and Instant Coffee" inspired by Alien.

Horror Caviar is the latest version of the publishing department of A24. Last month, the company released a coffee table book for promotional purposes only: the Hollywood movie booty and promotional merchandise catalog from 1975 to 2005, which displayed 165 marketing products, showing many Yuan Film Studio began to promote movies-from the fisherman hat with The Notebook logo to the "Being John Malkovich" matryoshka doll to the Jaws beach bag. They also interspersed articles about the history of movie merchandise, including an interview with Steve Elman behind the Jaws Beach Bag, and articles by cultural critic Lindsay Zoraz.

Expanding their coffee table book empire (especially near Christmas...we are on you!) is a wise call to the studio, it has a fanatical following, and is so invested in its aesthetics, we will Gobble up anything tangible and sell it to us.
