Retro sweaters, double-faced jackets and knitted fisherman hats are all on the decline this week.

The sudden drop in temperature heralded the beginning of sweater weather, and Supreme collaborated with knitwear masters. Missoni is an Italian luxury brand known for its unique and vibrant knitwear. It helped this streetwear brand create a series of knitted jackets, sweaters, polo shirts and hoodies, seeming to interpret the 70s and 80s And the retro style of the 90s.

The Supreme website detailed the story behind the Missoni brand, adding a deeper meaning to this collaboration. This Italian luxury brand was founded by newlyweds Ottavio Missoni and Rosita Jelmini. It started as a small knitting studio specializing in lightweight knitwear. Both Missoni and Jelmini have rich experience in clothing and combined their knowledge to create their own brands. Missoni designed iconic geometric patterns and Jelmini designed clothing styles. Since then, the Missoni brand has expanded into a global brand offering evening wear, swimwear, perfume, furniture, and now also working with streetwear.

Finally, it was a meaningful collaboration-combining Missoni's vibrant patterns with Supreme's modern design, the two meticulously created a series of colorful joint knitwear-or wearable art, as the streetwear brand implies Like that. Supreme pointed out that although Missoni itself is Italian, its famous patterns are inspired by Guatemala, Aztec and Inca textiles, or abstract, impressionist and decorative art paintings.

As the original design of the luxury brand was drawn on graph paper, Supreme also paid similar attention to the details of its cooperation, referring to Missoni's earth tones, conflict sequences and bold brand history. The meaning behind the clothing is very clear, and this collaboration may be Supreme's best this year.

Knitted style-the three double-sided jackets have a knitted look and a warm down look, fully displaying the Missoni and Supreme brand logos. Blue, white, yellow, and Supreme’s iconic red adorned the first coat; earth tones such as green, teal, brown, and orange followed closely; the third was in neutral gray, white and black tones.

The patterned sweaters depicting the buildings of New York City in a variety of colors are ice blue, dark gray and iridescent. Both the Missoni and Supreme logos are integrated into the pattern and are affixed to the architectural graphics, much like billboards.

More logo-centric items, such as half-zip polo shirts and hoodies, provide a casual style and still celebrate Missoni's marbled knitted fabrics and colorful designs. Three knitted fisherman hats-each matched to the tone of the double-sided jacket-put an end to the collection, showing off the Missoni and Supreme brands.

Coming soon this week-knitwear capsules will go on sale on Thursday, November 18th at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. As always, the highly limited collaboration will be available on Supreme's website and possibly in the store. Further releases will take place in Japan on November 20th, which means that if you miss the first round, you can always try again through an agent. Believe that this sweater is worth splurge.
