Goodbye, goodbye blonde! Billie Eilish seems to have bid farewell to her light lock-fans are crazy about her new look.

Not only her hair color is different, but the singer "The Happier Than Ever" has also become shorter, choosing a cool looking wolf cut.

On Thursday, December 3, the 19-year-old girl showed her new things to her nearly 100 million followers on Instagram. She took a selfie from above to let them take a good look at this new style, which is characterized by bangs and furry layers.

She captioned the photo, "Miss me?"

Celebrities and fans flocked to the comment section, including Olivia Rodrigo, who wrote, "Oh my God."

But, of course, some fans are not ready to say goodbye to Eilish's blonde hair. "The blond age is over???" one person wrote, adding a bunch of sad faces at the end. Another commented, "You just turned blonde, you can't do this to me."

Eilish became a famous blonde at the beginning of the year, ditching her iconic black and neon green hair. When she made her debut in March, she did break the Internet. A few minutes later, the photos she shared on Instagram became one of the most popular photos in the history of social media platforms.

In September, the star told Elle that she became a blonde because she "wants to be anonymous."

"I can't take that hair anywhere, because it's obviously me," she told the outlet. "I want to be anonymous."

Even if she dyed her hair and went out for daily activities, it still made her nervous. "I went to a park with a friend and I thought,'No, I can't take off my hood,'" she recalled.

"I was scared of the paparazzi and the stalkers I met. But my friend said,'Don't worry: you are okay. Nothing will happen. I took off my headscarf and felt like a brand new person."

However, the process of becoming a blonde beauty is quite long. All in all, the transformation took about six weeks. In order to keep the whole thing secret before the final version was released, Eilish had to wear a wig for nearly two months.

"January 16 is the first day of [color], and then two weeks of doing nothing-healing, allowing my hair to absorb, digest and recover," the star accepted Alan DeGeneres in May Xiu said in an interview.

Do some calculations, and it will soon be discovered that Eilish actually wore a wig at the Grammy Awards in March and covered the wig line with a Gucci jacquard fisherman hat.
