Humans and their canine partners travel to remote Maine forests in a unique survival challenge program. Now is the time to watch on TV or streaming media.

There are some Maineans who really understand the remote wilderness in a way. It has been proven many times in the Symbol TV program.

The first is Ryan Holt, who made his debut in Discovery Channel Naked and Fear in 2015. Holt returned to the show several times after proving that he was a master of jungle crafts. He last appeared on Naked and Afraid XL Legends in April. Then there is Zachary Fowler, who participated in the history channel show Alone in 2017. Zac won the season after surviving 87 days in Patagonia.

In this case, Maine is the background of the new survival reality show. Call of the Wild follows the team of survivors and their canine companions, who try to survive on land for 10 days.

National Geographic described the show as: "Humans and dog teams test their connection by conducting survival challenges in the remote Maine wilderness. These men and women must rely on their skills, instincts-and their dogs. ——Come to build a shelter, smell the food, defend against predators, and fight the elements."

When they were abandoned in the remote wilderness near Rangeley, these teams were only equipped with what was on their backs.
